Finally bought Ambush!

Well after years of wanting Ambush board game I finally got it from BGG at a great price. First edition and in immaculate condition, can't wait to get stuck in, and hopefully get hold of the expansions!

Has anyone played it, did you like it?

Also anyone know of any difference between first and second editions?

Its a great game. But is old fashioned.
IIRC there is an errata on one of the key event cards on scenario 1. Which causes some confusion. Best check out the errata on BGG

Oh I'm certain to want the expansions due apparently to it having low replay value!

As for Open Fire, maybe, but armoured vehicles isn't my thing compared to infantry.

Now Move Out and Purple Heart seem to be the ones to go for!

I also bought Fields of Fire 2nd edition in mint condition just counters all punched sorted and bagged for just £44 including delivery!! Blimey having the counters punched bagged and sorted is actually for me a massive bonus due to neuropathy in hands!

I owned both Ambush and Purple heart. Concerning Purple Heart it had a map unfold to allow for a surprise/random action(what cards do today). Cards would have worked better.
