I was playing "WN 73" with the Germans when routing stack I assumed to be safe because of scrub hexes (hindrances, indicated by blue arrows) was interdicted (red arrow) as shown in the image below:

In the subsequent Rout segment, the stack (now reduced to a wounded leader) was highlighted to indicate it must rout, even though it should be sheltered by the scrub hexes [&:].

When I routed the leader, it was subject to interdiction (see image).

Since the issue has been promptly solved by Peter, I think this bug report thread can be deleted, just to keep the forum neat [;)].
