Scaling and Sizing ships

Post by glumbumazn »

Hey guys, I'm having a little difficulty trying to figure out how to imagescale fighters appropriately.

One thing that really really puzzles me is that Matrix Games offers a range of absolute scaling starting from 10 yet there is no scaling at all for fighter category ships.

Has anyone figured out how to scale up/down fighter ships?

In case people misunderstand or just don't understand, the scaling here is all graphical scaling.

Hey,

the only thing what i figured out is.
ImageScaling with the absolute-value is working. For the Design-Templates....

ImageScaling ;Absolute 300 <-- will work

If you try ImageScaling with the Scaled-value like in the Modding-Guide you get an other value as you set. Very anoying...

ImageScaling ;Scaled 2.5 <-- won't work, because the . (point) and comma or semicolon don't work either.

I have no problem imagescaling ships like the escort, destroyer or mining ship.

What I want to know is how to scale the image of fighter ships. The design templates don't have fighters included.

I was about to do the same thing to my mod, unfort I don't see design template in my game folder. I am running Legend Expansion along with latest patch. Sorry I didn't care for Shadow Expansion.

So what do I do about the missing design templates? The game seem to running fine when I play it.
