Newer version of March 13 patch released

Achtung Panzer:Operation Star is an Eastern Front wargame with solid graphics and sprawling battlefields that really emphasize the scope of WWII tank combat. The gameplay is a remarkably realistic turn-based and real-time operational/tactical hybrid wargame that continues the series begun by the acclaimed Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943.

Hey Dane think you could post a screenshot of your update screen with all the current version numbers for APOS and the DLC's, and post what your build version is from the main game screen? I'm downloading the B patch now. I installed the march core update and the first march patch and the district update. Did the DLC's change in anyway? just wondering if i have to redownload the latest version from GG. I noticed the thread with the version numbers over at graviteam is no longer there. Thanks for any help. I'm not much for the modern stuff but will probably pickup Hooper when it goes on sale again.

This isn't the new March 13 patch.
I haven't downloaded that one yet considering Andrey said they are updating a newer one soon.

As far as I know these are the current versions of the DLCs for this game.
I haven't tried to redownload them yet to test because it takes forever now on Gamersgate to do so.It used to take me 15 mins per DLC now it takes over an hour.I have no idea why or what they changed.Maybe one day when I have the time and patience I'll try it and see if the versions have changed. So far what I have looks good and works fine.

Once the final March 13 patch is released I'll post a new screen of my updater.
I had a stickey of this on the Graviteam forum but the Admin removed it and replaced with his own sticky.

Why do they it so damn obtuse.

[:D] The Russians do things differently than us here in the west.
Don't ask me why,I don't know.
I just deal with it the best way I know how.So you guys will have to forgive me if I can't answer all your questions,I still have a lot of unanswered questions myself concerning this game and the way Graviteam presents it.[&:]

I'm not much for the modern stuff but will probably pickup Hooper when it goes on sale again.

I didn't think I would be interested in the modern stuff either at 1st,but decided to give it try.

I really didn't know anything about the wars in Angola and what I did think I knew was totally different from what was actually going on there after having done some research on the war.

I always thought of it as some kind of low level infantry guerilla war type conflict.I had know idea that there was this much modern hardware involved in that war.

After playing 1 of the campaigns I was impressed with the fact that the infantry platoons from both sides at least are able to defend themselves from armored vehicles with a variety of handheld AT weapons.

I can actually put up some kind of resistance now if all I have is infantry and my units are being hit by an enemy armored attack.

Nice change from some of the older DLCs where you spend most of the battle trying to hide your infantry to keep them from being slaughtered.

I think you'll like Hooper Bud.

Thx for the help and the screens Dane. The last few weeks i've been taking a break from wargames and now i'm getting the start of the itch to jump back in.

Looks like my update screen is the same as yours, wonder if it's different for anyone who re-downloaded the DLC's? I wish i would of known about there plans to release another patch soon, talk about slow downloads took me almost 4 hours to download the 485 meg file from graviteam, hope it gets posted somewhere else.

I installed the B patch and here's my build number.

Where does the High Resolution Textures Pack go on the update list? I have it at #3. Is that correct?

Thanks.

No!

The Hi Res DLC must be above the March patch(Game Update) for it to work.

Put it on top #1 for best result.

In a way they kind of are.

Flashburn and Krabb with Andreys' help are creating the Longstop,Tunisia 42 DLC I've been clamoring for.
So if we ever see that DLC in this series that would be thanks enough for me.

This seems to be the site for latest patch and most current build (2138)

This (2138) was on the .ua site.

Try this 1st open updater go to the text march patch and click select.
If that doesn't work than try this.
This is what I did to update my game.
Create a new folder in your game folder and name it March patch.Open your march patch as a rar file and unpack it to the March folder in your game folder.

Open(start) your game and open the ingame updater,Click the install button and locate the March patch folder you created open it and locate the Core folder open it and select all files till the desc. appears and then select the desc.

It's the old manual way but see if that works.

There is also some other patching tips on the SimHQ forums.

Haven't got a response from the graviteam forum yet, anyone know how we got to build 2167? does it go to that build when you install hooper? I'm still on 2138 and just got there.

Rod said this is where He got the (2167) build number March 13 patch.

I haven't tried it yet.I'm waiting till they have a final March 13 patch.
Since I still mostly play on my other version of this game(Aug 12 patch)I'm in no hurry.
Once NightPostman releases his new uniform mod I think I'll update both games to March 13,otherwise I still like playing with the old uniform mod and it doesn't work with the March 13 patch.

No if you install hooper it doesn't go to that build number,I have Hooper and it runs fine and I'm still at (1980)build number.
