Running COTD in Win7

I'm trying to run "COTD" and "Napoleon in Italy" in Win 7 with mixed results to say the least. Has anybody successful experiences with the matter. Thanks in advance for any advice offered!

It ran fine for me with the 2.2 patch, but wouldn't work for PBEM. If you install the game in Win 95 compat as admin and then run it the same way it should work as long as you don't patch it. Still having PBEM issues though. Let me know if you ever want to try a PBEM game and see if we can get it to work.
