Cyberpunk 2077 - new game from the creators of Witcher

The trailer of the game is going to be released in about 30 minutes since now. I'm wondering is it going to be more like original cyberpunk settings or something more decent like Deus Ex HR.

I'm crossing my fingers that this will be something awesome.

It's based on an RPG system I believe.

Another trailer that shows nothing of the game..was worth a watch and better than some, but still no game info and no actual in game screens of any sort.

I clearly said Fallout-like, not Fallout BoS-like or Fallout 3-like or Fallout New Vegas-like. There's only one game called Fallout.

I too would like an ISO RPG..so waiting on Wasteland 2...something cyberpunk would be cool I agree..

I don't have high expectations for this game. The Witcher 2 sucked already with it's QTE, tube levels and console-focused controls.

I recall enjoying the old Cyberpunk RPG system long ago. I dunno how much has changed since then but it was quality tabletop stuff.

But the absolutely terrible Witcher Series controls and conshole-ization is certainly a negative for these devs past efforts. I was shocked at how they still, reportedly, didn't do a good job with the UI & controls on the sequel (and haven't bothered purchasing it because of this, myself).

Maybe they've learned their lesson the third time around? I hope so because we definitely need more cyberpunk style RPGs. After seeing the huge success of the Shadowrun kickstarter, they must've jumped on the bandwagon with this one.

The original Cyberpunk 2013 was one of my most enjoyable experiences as a GM, second only to another Mike Pondsmith creation Castle Falkenstein.

Although a computer RPG can in no way replicate the tabletop experience this one might be fun but I'll wait to see how it pans out before getting in anyway excited.

Now if they had William Gibson doing the storyline that might be a different matter.
