Interesting read on surrender leaflets used against Japan

Interesting reading, Jorge. Particularly the fact that many Japanese soldiers that were taken as prisoners didn't want their families back home to know they had been captured. Too much shame visited on the family-better to not know or think them dead, apparently.

also interesting that once a Japanese soldier was capture; there was no guidelines on what he can said or not to his interrogator. Since the directive was "fight to death", it was really pointless to try to resist to the interrogators once captured, the horrendous shame to your honor, your familiy, your ancestors, etc was already done
