HTTR & BftB Question

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

HTTR & BftB Question

Post by rfrizz »

Can someone verify or set me straight on this, por favor?

HTTR is merely new maps and new scenarios. The AI, engine and interface are exactly the same as regular BftB.

To the scenario developers: No "put-down" of your work is intended. What you do is clearly damned hard.

I [&o] y'all as as much as I [&o] the AI, engine and interface teams.

Yes that's right HTTR Expansion Pack adds new scenarios, maps and estabs. It uses the Command Ops engine. So you have to have Battles From the Bulge to run it.

According to your post in the old HTTR forum, there is also a grant of license to download and install the original stand-alone version?

Indeed, that is the case. However, you may encounter the problem I've opened a thread about in the Support Area - it's being looked at though.
