Is This A Bug?

I restarted the first tutorial as the Russians, and there was no deployment before the action started. Is that a bug, or is deployment occasionally skipped? (Still haven't RTFM).

The tutorial is intended to be played from the German side, but it will work as the Russians. The absence of a Russian deployment phase is normal for this tutorial scenario.

I tried to play the Russians in the gap( not the tutorial) and the game did not
T work had to Clt alt del to get out of it. Played numerous multiplayer and vs computer with no prob. Just the gap scen vs comp human as soviets the game frooze on German set up. Again great game can't say enough about it.
