Anyone know how to freeze the US out of the War?

Is it possible to somehow prevent the US from every entering the war?

Or maybe save game editing values, so the US never goes to war?

No.

The closest you could get is use the editor to reduce all their unit values to 0 - but that would still let them help commercially, and to be honest I'm not sure the game editor actually works!

I'll have to look into that. I've always thought the US involvement in WW1 was something of an oddity, mostly based on Wilson's ego. The US had zero national interest, other than the fantasy that Britain and France would actually pay off their loans, in getting involved. I'd like to try playing it out as a purely European affair without hordes of naive Americans thundering to the rescue of a France and Britain who were no more admirable than the Germans.
