Ref Schedules

Post by dmack973 »

Hi All,

Is there a way to change the Re-enforcement schedule for a saved game in progress? I was wondering if you could add or subtract a unit due to tactical considerations while playing a scenario. Thanks for the help.

The short answer is no as there are two different file types involved: The .cos file (Command Ops Scenario) and the .cog file (Command Ops Game).

The scenario file where a reinforcement schedule is the condition of the game at the very start and nothing more. The game file takes that starting point and moves in through time to the specified end and is a separate entity all to itself.

Sorry, but I do not believe there is. I think your best option is to go into the scenario editor, open up the mission then save it off as another name, then modify the reinforcement schedules to suit your tastes, then play the revised mission with your battle plan.
