How to transfer programs from to a new PC?

Hi,
A question for the tech experts of the forum.
I've just bought a new laptop.
Is there a way to move my games and programs form my old PC to the new one without manually reinstalling them one by one?

I used an external drive to do it for my netbook. But, you'll run into registry issues and authorization issues with some of them just copying and pasting especially those from online download sites like Steam and Gamersgate.

Try this. Also call a tech & ask them about doing a Mirror Transfer;
