EVE-online really caught my interest recently and I probably start playing it in some point of the future when I get credits for a new rig.
Meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the epic and eerie musics of the game and noticed you can DL many excellent tracks from EVEs homepage. They are in MP3 format so using them in DW is easy-peasy.
EVEs music
Surplus Of Rare Artifacts, Hidden Mementos, Theme Of The Universe, Below the Asteroids and Omens are some great examples.
Enjoy! Hope you like them as much as I do!

Nice idea to release them on their website. I'll check these out later, thanks J.[;)]

Good stuff. I was getting tired of DADADADADUMDA...DADADA.
RE: Just a small heads-up for everybody who love using custom soundtracks in DW.
You can find them all in your EVE\res\audio\jukebox folder if you want. They lack their titles, though.

Yup, I know. The point here was that I love Space/SciFi music but haven't got EVE (Yet), so I'm more than happy to enjoy its music without owning a copy of it. Same goes for all games and music that I run into. [:)]

This is a great site too. It has a super search tool, and you can sample before downloading. I like to look for ambient music from anime, esp. Yoko Kanno stuff...

Wow, we should dedicate a thread for all the tools we find anywhere, kinda like a repository for modder training and perfecting [:)]

Hum well, you don't need an account to download and install the game.
Or I could upload the rest of the music somewhere, if you wish.

So it seems, Tree Dog. Didn't knew that.
Just read some FAQs and stuff from the EVEs homepage.
As I said, I have some real-world obstacles to go through before I MAYBE get into EVE seriously. Have heard all kinds of feedback of it, so I'm kinda on the fence about starting playing it in the future. Loving its audiovisuals and graphical style a lot though. Well see...

Why not just start posting our stuff here?
A forum member recommended this way back, and I've yet to find a better album for playing DW to.
Vangelis compilation. EDIT: It's a playlist so just start listening in the background while you play.[:)]

I've have no problems with this. Any music you listen when playing DW, just put it here. As long as it's free and legal, or it's youtube link or something similar.
EDIT: Igard, that song rocks! Funky!

Im not much of Eve Online fan, some musics is okay to me. I use to have that huge database on those music themes of Eve Online. Right now im using GalCivII and some off of youtube...

Wish i could add seperate custom race like GalCivII did, that not in stock or default ones. Wanted something twisted like Alien Movie alike. I just got this and want to try it out for awhile before i do any Star Trek or Babylon 5 Mods.
All you need to do is add whatever you like under sounds->music folder, those you dont like, just remove that file, otherwise it will play it. besure its MP3 around 120/160kbps

It's a playlist, J. Just let it run at the end, it'll move to the next track.
EDIT: This is great because you can just run it in the background when playing.

Very atmospheric. It reminds me of Alien.

Vangelis rules, his music can fit with everyting in this universe. I watched Conquest of Paradise partly because of him

I thought the playlist I posted was just for the Album, Heaven and Hell, but it seems like a Vangelis compilation. It's all great though.
EDIT: Just added the Heaven and Hell album as a playlist to my above post.

I've always been on the fence with Vangelis. Some of his music is excellent, but some sound like a mess to me and I can't understand what's so great about it. Guess it's just appless and oranges.

I happend to stumble upon it as a little kid when I was dreaming about space travel....they got mixed in my mind and now I can't (even if I wanted to) separate them.

I only really knew the blade runner theme, but after watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos only about 3 years ago, I looked it up and discovered Heaven and Hell. I haven't listened to all his other stuff, but what I have heard sounds just as good, but H and H goes so well with Distant Worlds.
