patch problem

Unexpected decompression error -1024, for a heap of BMP files-- any ideas

Downloadecd twice, runs until it tries to unpack .

I applied the patch on my system, so it can't be totally bad. I'm running XP fully patched/up to date, BTW.

I get an error message also, and cannot load the patch. Using VISTA. Error encountered loading FTP file it says...
"You can't stack units in this game. This is Tactics II, hexes haven't been invented yet..."

I got this Error Message when i tried to update the Prg. via the "update" function in the game. I then downloaded the patch manually and installed it manually. No problems with that.


P.S.: I did the CPU Multi Core changes. WOW, what a difference...it loads really fast now!

me and computers............................. reboted, tried again -and it worked from the download site...........God knows......LOL
