Options for mixed Multiplayer ?

Post by R_TEAM »

Hi,

i have already read that its possible to mix multiplayer sides free.
[2 Allies and 5 Axis btw]
But .. it is possible to play on 2 PC over Network with 3 Player ?
To clarify :
One player have one Pc
The other Player have One PC,but his brother like to play too (on the Same
PC).
It is possible to mix networkplay/Hot-Seat-Play ?
So play on the one PC only 1 player a networkgame and on the other PC
2 player a hot-seat-game with networkplay ?

Thanks for the Answer [;)]

R_TEAM  I don't know the exact answer to your question but I have played against 2 opponents playing 2 different scenarios, at the same time over the internet so I would think it could be done. [:D] Give it a try sir. If it works let us all know. That would be interesting info [;)]

Hi,

havo now testet a couple of multiplayer Options ... summary:

It is not possible to play with 2 different user (Hot Seat) on 1 computer AND have a network Game.
So -> In any type f network game, the game is limmited to 1 Computer for 1 Player !

Second, it possible to mix sides any favor ( 2 axis VS 5 allied / 4 axis VS 1 allied ...) .. but it is
not possible to play 2 axis VS A/I allied .. in every Multiplayer Game it is impossible to Activate
the A/I.

So .. it would be nice to implement in later versions the posibillity to play on 1 Computer with more than
One player in Networkgames (advanved HotSeat or HotSeat+Network)

And its would be nice to give the option to activate the A/I in multiplayer for One Site and maybe to
handle as normal Player with the possibility assign units to here ...

The suggestion to implement multiplayer in Campaign gams was already given ..

It is a very Nice game and was very funny with Multiplayer ;)
(only the bahavor of the Info window is a bit inaccurate - dont display evertime the actual
fight results)
