Turn 6, 30th of September 1941
Some of my forces start to hold their ground against enemy attacks. Though under combined German land, artillery and air attack almost all crumbled.
A lot of infantry arrived at Stavka this round. However due to a small logistical error I could transfer none of them to the Leningrad front. I hope Leningrad holds for one more turn so I can reinforce the line there. Moscow is definitely being swamped now with infantry and bazookas green recruits.
I did some successful counter attacks around Leningrad, while my counter attacks around Moscow failed.
Around Sevastopol I managed to do a successful counter attack. Also I did an amphibious landing and cut the German land supply line again.
Overall the situation looks grim though...
Turn 7, 20th of October 1941
The promised infantry reinforcements have only partly arrived at Leningrad HQ. This was due to the fact that Leningrad is almost out of contact with the rest of the USSR.
I did what I could to strengthen Leningrad's front with inadequate means. I even send half of the staff of the HQ to the front. But it will not be enough. Leningrad will fall next turn, or the turn after it. I already created a Far Northern Front to hold the advance to Murmansk. And next turn extra production will arrive due to part of this turns production could not reach Leningrad HQ.
A lot of troops are ready for the defence of Moscow and lots more will arrive next turn. Considering the dreadful situation Leningrad is in all focus is now on holding Moscow. If I can make it into the winter with Moscow still in my hands I will be able to also reinforce the south.
